Roadmap

Stage 1: Easy Story Mode (All Collectibles, All Challenges, All Upgrades)

Shadow Warrior 3 now features Chapter Select as a part of its latest update, so the game no longer features any actual missable trophies. You can replay any chapter except the first, but that chapter only serves as a tutorial and there is nothing that can be missed that is collectible related. Also, and this is the best part, unlike previous entries in the series this game features no difficulty-related trophies! You are welcome to play on any difficulty you choose, but this guide is written under the assumption you are playing on the easiest difficulty.

For this stage, you will focus on completing all 11 chapters and collecting every upgrade point throughout them (see Gold Coaching Is Overrated for more information). Again, you can replay any of these missions and it will save your progress for the level once you reach the checkpoint after collecting the upgrade point if you do miss one. There are also a few miscellaneous trophies that you will likely not get playing casually, but you can focus on farming those on whichever level you want after beating the game. The game is relatively short and can be completed in a few hours, so this stage should not take you too long; it just depends on how much time you spend farming challenges or trophies.

Stage 2: Clean-up and Platinum!

Now that you've completed the game, you will fully understand the flow of combat and know which levels you need to revisit (if any) for picking up any missing collectibles or to farm any miscellaneous trophies. You may have unlocked some, or all, of these along the way, but now you will only need to focus on cleaning up what you're missing. While the guide features a few spots recommended for farming trophies, you are welcome to use any location that you would like. The game does not save trophy progress from reloading checkpoints, but it does save progress if you die to enemies. Challenges, however, do not save if you die and only will save progress when you make it to the next checkpoint. Finally, after completing all miscellaneous trophies the shiny new platinum will be yours!

This trophy is earned after completing Chapter 1 (the tutorial). This tutorial is a part of the story and is not skippable. It also can not be replayed unless you start a new game, and it serves as a great introduction to the combat mechanics of the game. Thankfully, there are no collectibles in this mission and it will not be worth farming any miscellaneous trophies in this chapter. Lo Wang starts with the Dragontail, his most prized katana that has seen many enemies defeated throughout the years, and The Outlaw, a one-of-a-kind six-shooter that only Wang seems to be able to tame. Lastly, you will find the Riot Gun, a massive shotgun with enough power to carry you along through the game.

You'll be introduced to the first two enemies of the game, and this is a great introduction to the "Finisher Meter" system that you must perform on 100 enemies total (see Silver Executioner for more) and on each of the 10 different enemies (see Bronze Show Me What You're Made Of for more) respectively.

Aside from the mission-specific trophy, by performing a Finisher on the two enemies introduced you will earn the following trophies:

Again, thankfully there is now Chapter Select, so these collectibles can be found by revisiting any level where you missed a collectible by selecting it from the Chapter Select menu. IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT THE FOLLOWING VIDEO
After Chapter Select was introduced the mission Midnight Snack was updated to be longer and the final mission, Intestinal Inspector, now starts at a later point. Because of this change, the Upgrade Orbs are still in the same location as shown in the video, but one of the orbs in the final mission is technically still a part of Midnight Snack according to the new level layout. This is reflected on the Chapter Select menu, but it is not correctly displayed in this video. All collectible videos currently show the previous arrangement of the levels.

There are 10 different Gore Tools from the 10 different enemies you'll face in the various combat sections of the game. Earning each of these tools will net you a specific trophy, and these tools range in usefulness from simply giving you more health to obliterating enemies quickly. Below is a list of all the various Gore Tools and the use of the tool itself (see the Bestiary for more on the enemy).

Depending on your use of the Dragontail, this will likely be earned before completing Chapter 4. You need to kill 100 enemies with the Dragontail for a challenge to earn a Weapon Upgrade Orb anyway (see Gold Coaching Is Overrated for more information), so this trophy will not be anything you need to worry about going for specifically. Use the Dragontail leisurely and you'll certainly have this trophy in no time.

This trophy requires you to use any of the eight (out of 10) Gore Tools that deal damage to kill enemies specifically with that tool. See Bronze Show Me What You're Made Of for more information on which tools you can use for this trophy. For example, the Brain Freeze Gore Tool does affect enemies by freezing them, but they will not die without you performing further interaction on them after freezing so it does not count for this trophy.

This trophy will be earned naturally and with no trouble at all. There are many more than 200 enemies in the game and killing them by any means will earn you this trophy. See Bestiary for more information on all enemy types.

There are only 2 ways to set enemies on fire, and both will take a little bit of time to unlock. Below are the only 2 methods that are usable in order to set enemies on fire:

Method 1 - Dragontail (the katana)

This method requires the Dragontail with the 2nd Weapon Upgrade (costs 3 Weapon Upgrade Orbs). Once you unlock this attack you will have to hold Left Stick: Up + R1 in order to charge up your Fireball attack with the katana. After the meter fully charges you will shoot a fireball in the direction you are facing. This fireball is powerful and may kill the weaker enemies in one shot, but as long as they were set on fire first it will still count.

Method 2 - The Outlaw (6-shooter)

The other method is to use The Outlaw with its final Weapon Upgrade (costs 7 Weapon Upgrade Orbs). After unlocking this upgrade you can set enemies on fire by quickly firing an entire clip onto an enemy. This will not work well with the weaker enemies, such as the Shogai or Kugutsu, so it's recommended you do this against any enemy except those two.

Freezing enemies can be done in 3 different methods. All three are equally as easy, but the use of ice barrels/vases or the Gore Tool from the Kugutsu (Brain Freeze) will be accessible sooner.

Environmental hazards range from things such as explosives lying around the area that you can blow up, spikes on the walls (see Bronze Acupuncture for more) where you're fighting enemies, or even as simple as pushing an enemy off the edge of a cliff with a Chi-Blast. After your 150th enemy has been killed in one of these different ways you will earn your trophy.
